NPGS Study Group – RESCHEDULED to April 22, 2014
On Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at 5:30 pm, there will be a Learn to Shelve activity in the Genealogy Area of the Library. Sara Aden will show anyone wanting to help shelve the NPGS collection how to read a label and then shelve items in the correct location so everyone can find it.
The North Platte Genealogical Society Study Group will NOT be meeting tomorrow night as scheduled. After a trip to ER, I have been diagnosed with Influenza B. I don’t think anybody wants me to share it. It’s rough!!
Sara will still have her session in the library genealogy section at 5:30 tomorrow night for those interested in learning about the shelving of the genealogy books.
I have rescheduled the study group for Tuesday, April 22nd, in the North Platte Public Library meeting room at 6:30 p.m.
The Study Group will meet on Tuesday, April 22nd at 6:30 pm CDT at the North Platte Public Library Meeting Room.
The topic for April is “Where Will I Find That?” We will work through some more specific genealogy problems to test your skills in knowing what sources are useful and where you will find them. It will be somewhat similar to the solving problems of the March Study Group.
Bring your own beverage and I will bring the treats.
